It's sickening how we gasp to find
Serenity in repetition
As the truth stares right into our eyes
And our slumbering malediction
This world that we helped shape
Shall inevitably end tonight
And tomorrow the world is a different place
Castrated in plain sight!

Do we reek of such putrid decay?
Our self-preserved extinction?
Do we seek the rush then contemplate
This horrifying perpetration..

I'll mourn no more our slaughtered souls
Therefore we fall for our shameful goals
Set free the burning feet from marching forth
Epitome, the enemy's our guiding force

Only one plain reason why we're all ensconced in fear
Because all the words of the lucent minds have fallen on deaf ears
The preachers of the sinners and saints imposed this noxious shroud
Deadly strikes from every side manifest their evil vows

Is there a real solution?
Is there a place to go?
A nominal restitution or
Only this hell we know!

Do we feel the need to soar and roam?
Incentivized to read between the lines
Or are we so enslaved to modern Rome?
Sorely tantalized, destination: demise
